NUESTRA SENORA DE LA PAZ Y BUEN VIAJE CHURCH
The Nuestra Senora De La Paz Y Buen Viaje Church (Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage) was allegedly built in 1790, but sadly, the building's exterior and interior no longer bears signs of any of its classic design. But this church enshrines the image of Nuestra senora De La Paz which a lot devotees have attributed miracles to pilgrimage are often done at this church to seek the guidance and assistance of the patroness.

GENERAL MACABULOS' HISTORICAL MARKER
On September 17, 1871, Revolutionary General Francisco Macabulos was born in La Paz, Tarlac to Alejandro Makabulos of Lubao,Pampanga and Gregorio Soliman.
He is considered the first patriot of Tarlac to join th Katipunan having inducted into the secret society by Ladislao Diwa in 1896.
Makabulos was appointed by General Emilio Aguinaldo as one of the brigadier generals of the Central Luzon area.
Anticipating the collapse of peace under the terms of the Pack of Biak-na-Bato entered into by Governor-General G. Primo de
Rivera and General Emilio Aguinaldo in December, 1897, General Francisco Makabulos and other revolutionary leaders draw up and sign a constitution on April 17, 1898
for the purpose of creating a central executive committee to act as comittee is composed of a president, vice president, a secretary of the interior, secretary of War,
and secretary of the Treasury.
He also fought in Tarlac and Pampanga during the Filipino-American War.
Makabulos later became mayor of La Paz, Tarlac and, after his term in office, he returned to farming until his dath on April 30, 1922 at th age of 51.
